Spring Creek Trail

🐾 In-town climb

Dog-friendly

An in-town trail that climbs roughly five miles alongside its creek from the edge of downtown up to Dry Lake Campground on Buffalo Pass. Intermediate, popular, and the way locals get up the pass without loading a car.

Trailhead via Amethyst Ave

Local tip

Your base for all of it.

Escape Chalet sits in the mountain district at the base of Mount Werner, a flat ten-minute walk from the gondola, with the free Green Line bus stopping 50 feet from the door.
